Real Property Download

This service delivers a one-off download of property information that can be integrated into your own system. It is a snapshot of what the information looks like at the time of download. The product name in Swedish is Fastighetsuttag. The product will be replaced by Real Property Information Download and Assessment Download.

About this product

Real Property Download will be replaced by Real Property Information Download and Assessment Download as of January 2025.

This service allows you to download property information in semi-colon separated text files according to the transfer format (ÖFF) and use the information in your own systems and applications.

Downloads can be made:

for a geographical area (County / Municipality / Parish)
for a certain fixed stock of properties
on the selection of tables / objects, containing real estate information, that is required
on, for example, detached houses, apartment buildings or other types of properties.

Future Supply - is an ongoing work aimed at modernising products, ordering, delivery and support. The introduction of changes takes place gradually. When all information is updated and available, the intention is to discontinue Real Property Notification via the ÖFF format.

How to download the files once you have ordered property price or property information

Download can be done via sftp client or https protocols which are encrypted access methods. Each customer is identified with their username and password that has been sent via e-mail if specified when ordering.

Availability is basically 24 hours/day with interruptions for service and upgrades and more.

As an sftp client, e.g. Filezilla, Winscp or sftp.exe (included in PuTTY) are used.

Delivery files

Delivery files are uploaded as one file for all objects/tables. They are made available at the download file catalogue for up to two months. During the first month, they are stored at the delivery directory and thereafter moved to the subfolder "backup" of the delivery directory. We can recreate deleted files up to 6 months back for a fee of 800 SEK per file.

What are you going to do with the information?

How personal data in the Real Property Register may be used is governed by the Real Property Register Act (2000:224) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Before we can give you access to personal information in the Property register, we must evaluate your purpose with the use, which means that we will ask what you want to do. The application form is available in both Swedish and English.

Forms for evaluation of purpose for extraction-, notification- and download products

Lantmäteriet also reviews all orders from a confidentiality perspective. Confidentiality applies, among other things, to information concerning total defence if it can be assumed to damage the country's defence, or is considered to constitute a danger to national security if the information is disclosed in accordance with 15 kap 2 § Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009:400). The evaluation may therefore in some cases take from three to five working days.
