Easement agreement

Submit agreement and application form

The easement agreement must be submitted in the original together with the application form Application for other enrollment case (pdf, new window) when applying for enrollment of easement.

Mail the agreement together with the application to:
Lantmäteriet Property registration, 761 80 Norrtälje.

In order for the right to be visible in the property register, the agreement needs to be sent to Lantmäteriet for registration, thus ensuring that the new owner of the leasing property and other stakeholders see that there is an easement or right of use Once the agreement has been received, together with an application, Lantmäteriet conducts a formal review and assesses whether registration can be granted.

Create the easement agreement

Keep in mind that the agreement is not saved automatically. Once you have created the agreement, you need to print it directly or save it on your computer so that what you filled in is not lost.

Fields marked with * are required and must be filled out.

The property / plot right that leases the easement (service): Enter the property designation of the property / plot right. The property designation must contain the municipality, area name and number, for example: Gävle Torp 1: 1.

Serving property owner / plot right holder: Enter the name of the property owner / plot right holder for the property that leases the easement. If there is more than one owner, enter one name per line.

The property / plot right that has the right to use the easement (ruling): Enter the property designation of the property / plot right. The property designation must contain the municipality, area name and number, for example: Gävle Torp 1: 1.

Ruling property owner / plot right holder: Enter the name of the property owner / plot right holder for the property that has the right to use the easement. If there is more than one owner, enter one name per line.

Purpose: It must be clear what the purpose of the lease is, for example the right to use a road or well. The purpose of the easement must not be temporary but must be permanent.

Other: Any other agreements, such as consideration, maintenance or any restrictions.
