Change information in the Joint Property Association Register (SFR)

The information in the joint property association register (SFR) must be updated immediately when previously registered information has changed.

How do I change the information?

To make a change of information, you need to send in a notification, the easiest way to do this is via our e-service. In the e-service, you can report the following changes: the association's postal address and contact information, information about the board's composition, date of the most recent general meeting and information about signatories.

Remember that all members and deputies of the board must be included. Also make sure that you have a personal identity number/ID number for all board members and signatories before you start your registration.

If you want to submit your changes by letter, use the form Registration to SFR (in Swedish, pdf, new window) and send it signed to the postal address stated in the form.

When changing the name of the association

To make a name change of the association you need to send this to us by letter (not e-mail):

Upon dissolution of an association

To make a dissolution of the association, you need to send this to us by letter (not e-mail):

  • a signed notification

  • a certified copy of the minutes of the meeting where a decision on dissolution has been made
  • a certified copy of the deed of probate, if the parcel has taken place
  • a certified copy of the decision of the County Administrative Board on consent from the County Administrative Board is required for the dissolution of the association.

When a merger (fusion) of one association to another

In the event of a merger, you need to send this to us by letter (not e-mail):

  • a signed notification regarding a change in the articles of association for the transferee association
  • a signed and completed application per association regarding merger for the transferors

  • a certified copy of the merger agreement
  • a certified copy of the minutes of the general meeting from the transferring association where the decision on approval of the merger agreement is contained with
  • a certified copy of the minutes of the general meeting from the acquiring association where there is a decision to amend the articles of association of the acquiring association
  • a certified copy of statutes.

An existing association that wants to add a new administrative object that has co-ownership management can not apply for a merger. In these cases, a meeting needs to be held by the surveying authority or the person appointed by the authority, and the association needs to report a change in the statutes of the association.
