Intrusion into forest land

Here you will find recommendations for valuation of forest land in encroachment situations, for example construction of a new power line, road or railway, as well as calculation of grading value for forest land when dividing a property. In Sweden, the 2018 Forest Standard and the Land Survey's simplified method for encroachment assessment are currently applied.

Applications in the 2018 forest standard

The 2018 Forest Standard, in combination with current type tree prices, has replaced the 2009 Forest Standard in Lantmäteriet s förrättningsverksamhet.

A help table for determining the correction factor in the case of early felling has been developed to facilitate manual calculation. The table corresponds to tables B1 and B3 in ordinary tables.

Grading value when changing land / splitting a property

There is a table system for calculating grading value in forest land. The table system is based on the same basic principle as found in the predecessor in the Table Method from 1976 and Backlund's tables from 1962.
