Lantmäteriet supplies maps and other geographical information for different purposes. Maps are available in various scales and can be printed on paper or delivered digitally on CD or via the Internet. The geographical information that constitutes the basis of the maps is digital and is divided into different themes in order to enable further processing using computers. Except for the maps Lantmäteriet produces for the basic needs in society we also make exclusive maps for various customers.
Sweden´s localities as public maps or specially ordered products are available in printed and digital form for various purposes of use.
The Index Map contains information related to the division of Sweden into real property units including plans, restrictions and rights.
The Property Map contains the best and most detailed map information available for the scale range of 1:10 000-12 500.
The Topographic Map gives a complete land type presentation, which also includes areas with large boulders, rock outcrops and deciduous forest. The map also contains a detailed presentation of bypaths, paths and road barriers.
The Road Map at a scale of 1:100 000. The most important information is complete and current road content.
The General Map at a scale of 1:250 000 has nationwide coverage and contains road networks, built-up areas, boundaries, contours, hydrography and reference grids.
The Mountain Map at a scale of 1:100 000 covers the mountain area from Sälen in the south to Treriksröset in the north. The Mountain Map at a scale of 1:50 000, covering the southern parts of the mountain chain, is in the process of being built up.
