EUREF 2010 - June 2-5 in Gävle, Sweden
Welcome to the website of the 2010 symposium of EUREF. EUREF is the IAG Reference Frame sub-commission for Europe, integrated in the sub-commission of Regional Reference Frames. The EUREF sub-commission was founded in 1987.
EUREF is a non-profit organisation whose principal aims are the definition, realisation and maintenance of the European reference frames ETRS89 (European Terrestrial Reference System) and EVRS (European Vertical Reference System).
The work within EUREF will become even more important because the data exchange within the INSPIRE framework weigh heavily upon these European reference frames.
The EUREF symposium is organised yearly and it is the forum where the EUREF activities are discussed and resolutions are taken. The 2010 symposium is organised by Lantmäteriet - the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority - and co-sponsored by KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Onsala Space Observatory at Chalmers University of Technology. It will take place on June 2-5 at the Clarion Hotel Winn Conference venue in Gävle.
